HARDSCAPE SPECIALIST

Award-winning landscape design and construction, Sustainable Landscapes, has a position open for Landscape Construction Crew Leader. We are a team of skilled landscape professionals based in Traverse City that is continually growing and we are in need of a Landscape Construction Crew Leader who has the experience and tenacity to match our goals and high standards. Our focus is on quality, customer satisfaction, and creating beautiful, functional, award-winning landscapes for our clients to make memories within and creating a prideful and fun work environment for our team. We offer competitive hourly pay with a starting wage of $22/hr, and a comprehensive benefits package.

 
 

Job Description

  • Work closely with crew leaders to install various hardscape designs.

  • Install various stone materials such as boulder walls, flagstone, and pavers from start to finish with great attention to detail.

  • Must be able to lead a small crew to execute jobs in a detailed manner throughout the season.

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 Years previous experience with hardscape installation a must.

  • Ability to work 50+ hrs a week and have the weekends off.

  • Must enjoy outdoor work in all types of weather.

  • Strong work ethic is a necessary part of the job.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, including giving direction and constructive feedback to team members.

  • Good driving record, Chauffeurs License and Medical examiners card upon hiring paid by employer.

  • Ability to haul trailers and equipment safely to sites.

Schedule

Position open immediately with a start date of April 1st (weather dependent).
